Sleeper Report: Andrew Eudy (Campbell)

Game Scouted: Campbell vs UNCW

Campbell wins 97-93 in OT

Andrew Eudy, PF, 6’7″, 210 lbs, SR

Strengths

Great shooting stroke- high release w/ great touch and rotation- has range out to 3 pt line- simple and pure stroke. Very good catch and shoot guy. Loves to pick and pop- gets feet set and on balance quickly. Was 5-6 from distance tonight.

Capable scorer from both the perimeter with his 3 pt shooting and pick and pop ability and from the post. Is a patient scorer with his back to the basket– does a nice job of reading the defense and takes what the defense gives. Showed good footwork and ability to use either hand equally well. Good hook shot.

Good rebounder on both ends who boxes out. Solid shot blocker who influences shots he doesnt block.

Great out of the mid post area where he is patient and reads the floor- great passer. His touch passes are incredible. High basketball IQ. Great feel for the game! Crafty. Lets the game come to him doesnt force shots or his offense.

Moves well and is better athlete than given credit for. Showed he could hedge ball screens and retreat to man.

Weaknesses

Not physically weak but could gain some more muscle mass as he is prone to giving up ground in the post to stronger players. Lacks the 1st step quickness to get by other 4’s on the perimeter.  How well can he create his own offense?

Overall

Andrew entered the game 3rd in school history in blocked shots. Super efficient player who can score inside and outside, defends, rebounds, and makes others better. He has the type of game that should translate well to Europe. Very few weaknesses as a player- overall fundamentally sound.
