Justin Johnson Halifax Hurricanes

Justin Johnson of the Halifax Hurricanes has been named the NBL Canada Player of the Week, after averaging 22 points per game over the previous four contests to help push his team to the top of the Atlantic Division. This includes a win over the Saint John Mill Rats, a team that had come out strong at the beginning of the season.

Johnson played his collegiate ball at UC Irvine, then transferred to Concordia University before finishing up in 2011. He was picked in the NBA D-League draft and played for various teams from 2011 through end of the 2014-15 season before moving to the NBL.
